Universal Design for Learning

I have been learning about new technologies to aid in classroom learning. While I explore these new assistive technologies, I will be looking at them through the lens of Universal Design for Learning, or UDL.

I have know about UDL since I started teaching and I have always had an idea of how to utilize these concepts in my planning. I did not normally think about assistive technologies as a way to help make my lessons more accessible to my students. I have been exposed to many apps and programs for students to show their understanding but not accessing the information.

See my Padlet for resources I have found that help shape my understanding of assistive technologies and UDL.
